Marina
Let your maritime adventure begin with us. Whether navigating your own vessel or choosing a charter, our marina ensures an unforgettable experience amidst pristine waters and vibrant marine life, nestled along the longest barrier reef in the western hemisphere.
Boasting a concrete deck dock and accommodating both business and recreational boaters, our marina offers a nautical refuge for seafarers!
Arriving is a Breeze!
- Clear into our marina in Belize City or opt for San Pedro, Placencia, or Big Creek.
- Fly the “Flag,” call the Belize Port Authority (either Ch 16 or Ch 68 on the VHF), and let your journey unfold. Our dedicated staff assists in inspections, visas, and permits, ensuring a smooth entry.
- The Port Authority will direct the yacht to the designated anchorage or marina, setting up official inspection by the Immigration, Customs, Public Health, and Animal & Health departments (five officers total)—requiring a transportation fee for every officer.
- You must present your charter contract, ownership certificate, yacht registration documents, and clearance from the last port of departure.
- You might also be required to present current charts of Belizean waters or relevant GPS devices.
- The Port Authority will impose a fee (USD $120) for issuing a permit, which is typically valid for the first 30 days.
- Immigration officials will request the crew members’ list and will also inspect passports and grant 30-day visas that can be extended for longer periods.
- Customs officials will inspect the boat and provide you with a list of stores (including tobacco and alcohol) and a “nil” list (indicating that you have no prohibited items onboard).
- The Agricultural Health Authority will inspect and confirm compliance with rules for plant and animal health as well as the appropriate and hygienic disposal of waste.
- A fee of USD $10 is required (USD $25 is required for ships longer than 50 feet).
PLEASE NOTE: Belize strictly safeguards its pristine natural environment, and certain anchorages are vulnerable to harm.
