Belize City, Belize - June 23, 2010 - Carlson Hotels Worldwide today announced the 102-room Fort George Hotel and Marina located at #2 Marine Parade in Belize City, will undergo a US$160,000 renovation beginning on June 23, 2010. Refurbishment of the hotel's Baymen's Tavern, Le Petit Café, Business Center, Santa Rita Room, VIP Room and the Club Tower Elevator is expected to be completed by October 2010.

Major changes include expansion of the Le Petit Café, relocation of the Business Center in the main lobby, re-doing the décor of two of our meeting rooms and refurbishing our elevator. These changes will better accommodate our guests and customers.
