On the 31st December 2010, the Radisson Fort George Hotel and Marina announced its completion on all planned renovations. If you may recall, the Radisson underwent a US$160,000.00 renovation at the beginning of June 2010 which included refurbishment of Baymen's Tavern, St. George's Restaurant, Le Petit Cafe, Business Center, Santa Rita Room, VIP Room, and the Club Tower Elevator.

The hotel received 1st runner up for their hard work and dedication in implementing and promoting sustainable practices throughout the hotel. The certificate was presented by Mr. Jim Scott on behalf of the University of Belize and proudly collected by Ms. Pat Lamb, "Green Champion" of the Radisson Fort George.

Belize City, Belize — July 20, 2010 — On Friday July 16, all Heads of Department of the Radisson Fort George Hotel & Marina were enrolled in a two day Yes I Can! Training, a concept that is the heart of Radisson. These are not only words spoken but also actions displayed by each employee of the hotel. The Instructor was Karla Custodio, Human Resource Manager who previously took the training in Costa Rica.

Refurbishment of the hotel's Baymen's Tavern, Le Petit Café, Business Center, Santa Rita Room, VIP Room and the Club Tower Elevator is expected to be completed by October 2010.
